We would recommend new patients to come to Alexander House Dental Practice to fill in a patient information and medical history form. It provides you with the opportunity to meet staff and the practice, although you can simply ring us to make your first appointment over the phone if you wish.
Special Requests Or Needs
If you need a member of staff to help with young children, need an appointment at a certain time for personal reasons or for any other request, we are always happy to try to adapt to what you need. Please let us know before your appointment and we will do our utmost to accommodate your request.
First Appointment Process
We aim to make your visit easy, simple, stress-free and informative. Here is the process you can expect to follow:
Step 1
We will ask you to fill in a dental and medical questionnaire and our dentists will listen to your concerns and wishes.
Step 2
After this, a thorough dental examination will take place, including looking at your gums, teeth, existing dental restorations, soft tissues, bone levels and jaw joints.
Step 3
Facial muscles and lymph nodes may be examined.
Step 4
X-rays may need to be taken.
Step 5
We provide a written treatment plan, options and costs, No dental treatment will take place unless you request this or if it is an emergency.
